About Us
Gap View Village was so named because the area has a picturesque
view of the "Gap" on the Blue Ridge at the confluence of the
Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers at
Harpers Ferry, West Virginia.
Gap View Village is a community of 178 single-family homes located in Harpers Ferry, (Jefferson County) West Virginia. Our neighborhood is approximately 65 miles from Baltimore, Maryland and Washington, D.C. (accessible by the MARC train - Harpers Ferry and Duffields stations).
The Community is a few miles from historic downtown Harpers Ferry, the Harpers Ferry National Historic Park,  and just a short ride to the historic Antietam National Battlefield (MD), Charles Town, Martinsburg, and Shepherdstown, West Virginia.  The Appalachian Trail enters West Virginia in Harpers Ferry. The area is a haven for outdoor activities, including camping, biking, tubing, kayaking/canoeing/ rafting, hiking, etc.
